Co-Owner of G1 Impact Academy and has over 20 years of coaching experience with over 70 tournaments titles, 7 State Championships, 5 World Series Championships and over 500 wins in Travel Baseball. Don also has over eight years of combined coaching baseball at Southwood High School and Calvary Baptist Academy. His love and passion for the game have recently expanded into softball, his 2018 12U G1 Impact team won over 60 games and won the USSSA Louisiana State Championship going undefeated and finished 3rd at the World Series in Florida. He now is the Head Coach of our 12U & 14U Marucci Patriots G1 Showcase Team.


Co-Owner and founder of G1 Impact Academy and has coached league, travel softball since 2011. Jamie teaches G1 Impact’s beginner baseball and softball class and numerous private softball and baseball lessons. With over 10 years in the film industry, Jamie is currently filming and directing instructional videos to improve technique for softball players. Jamie’s vision for G1 Impact is to always put God first and good things will follow. Jamie currently is the Head Coach for G1 Impact 14u & 16U  softball team.


Roo played collegiate softball, first at Otero Junior College and then UT-Tyler. Roo led the nation (all divisions) with 24 home runs during her second season at Otero. After setting home run records at both schools and earning All-American honors, She went on to play professional softball and also starred on a Swiss National Team where her team finished runner-up for the European Cup. After her collegiate career, Richardson-Johnson coached at Otero Junior College for two seasons. She has coached at the High School level the past 6 years. She is now the Asst. Coach of our 14U Marucci Patriots G1 Showcase Team.


Amanda Played college softball at Texarkana College where she played shortstop as a freshman. She transferred to UT-Tyler where she acquired many accolades & awards as the starting shortstop all 3 years. She began her coaching career at the collegiate level as Asst. coach / recruiting coordinator for East Texas Baptist University. After ETBU she decided to accept the same position at Centenary College, she was there from 2013-2015. From 2015-2018 she was the Head Coach of Evangel Christian Academy this past season her Lady Eagles team advanced to the LHSAA Division I semifinals under Juneau they finished the 2018 season with a record of 23-9. She is now the Asst. Coach of our 14U Marucci Patriots G1 Showcase Team.


Ashlyn during her High School career was first team all-district all four years, All-District MVP & All-State Catcher in 2006. Collegiate Softball, first at East Mississippi Community College and spent a short time with McNeese State University. While at EMCC, Ashlyn broke the home run and RBI record. She was also named to the All-Region team in 2007. Career ending injury in 2010 led her into coaching. She coached at Erath High School, Catholic High New Iberia, and was Coach of the Year at St. Edmund Catholic High School. She is a former coach Southwood High School. She has coached select ball for over ten years and had helped numerous players with scholarships. 


Megan played college softball at Hesston College and at Fort Lewis College. Her positions included pitcher, first base and outfield. She began coaching when he was 16 years old. Megan pitched at Douglas County in Castle Rock, Colorado. Megan is married and lives in Shreveport, LA. She loves teaching the sport of softball and giving private pitching lessons.

Head Coach at C. E. Byrd (2002-2006), Head Coach at Palestine HS, Hitting and IF Coach at Clear Creek HS. Coach Ab has put together quite the resume since he got into coaching, he has coached over 10 Division 1 players with the addition of five that have been drafted. Currently he is in charge of offensive and infield development at North Desoto High School. North Desoto has become one of the better offense teams in the state with Coach Ab working with the hitters. In 2017, North Desoto led the state in runs scored in ALL classifications (346) and set over 7 team school offensive records including batting average (.369), OPS (1.055) HR (22) and RBI (301).  He will be doing lessons and running clinics at our Academy.


Jared is currently G1 Impact's official pitching instructor and assists with our 8u Baseball travel team. Jared was born in 1993 in Spring, Tx. He was drafted in 2015 by the Seattle Mariners. He was drafted in the 29th Rd. (875th overall) and was a collegiate pitcher at Louisiana State University of Shreveport.
